Lindencroft Case Manager Intern

Experience an opportunity to learn about collaboration in a youth’s life, and working together to provide the best treatment possible for each individual adolescent.

Days per Week: Sunday - Saturday/ Hours per Week:  Flexible

Lindencroft, a program of Community Care Services is a 24-hour group home which serves adolescent females through a comprehensive network of services located in Berkley, Massachusetts.  It is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care.  The program provides a comprehensive array of clinically sound and sophisticated services designed to serve DSS female service recipients and their families.  Service recipients usually have a history of self-destructive behaviors, physical abuse/victimization and/or outward aggression, running away, eating disorders, sexual victimization and/or perpetration, school truancy/phobia, academic and peer group failures and frequent changes in family structure.

Responsibilities and Educational Opportunities

 

Qualifications: Interns should have an interest in – and sensitivity toward - the population that this program serves.  Community Care Services requires a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI) which may take 2 weeks for some programs. Other requirements include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, as well as tuberculosis screening at some programs. We will arrange for completion of all your requirements.
