Photo/Art Intern Position Description

One of our strategic goals is to enhance our visibility, our recognition, and our reputation within the communities that we serve.  One of the tactics to achieve that goal is the creation and display of various montages of the many clients we serve throughout our facilities.

Some of the learning and growth opportunities within Community Care Services that a Photo/Art intern would experience are:

• Assist CEO with project conceptualization including overall design, budget, and timelines of the photography / art project.
• Creation & design of photographs/art work of a variety of people receiving our services.
• Design of displays throughout our facilities.
• Implementation of project plan through various stages of completion.
• Collaborating with social service professionals throughout this project.  

Community Care Services is a large, nonprofit human services agency with thirty very diverse programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  The agency’s 450 employees and 250 volunteers, including interns, assist approximately 10,000 people every year.  Our services are utilized by every age group from newly born infants to frail elders.
