STARR Internship Position Description
Become a part of a multidisciplinary team serving adolescents and their families.
STARR, a program of Community Care Services, is a short-term, co-ed residential stabilization, assessment, and rapid reunification program serving adolescents and families referred by the Department of Children and Families. Service recipients can remain in placement up to 45 days with the goal of returning to the community with therapeutic supports in place.

Community Care Services, the parent organization for STARR, is a large, nonprofit human services agency with thirty very diverse programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Qualifications: Interns should have an interest in – and sensitivity toward - the population that this program serves. Community Care Services requires a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI) which may take 2 weeks for some programs. Other requirements include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, as well as tuberculosis screening at some programs. We will arrange for completion of all your requirements.
