Care Services is a large, nonprofit human services agency with thirty very
diverse programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and

Some
of the learning and growth opportunities within Community Care Services that an
intern in our Executive Offices would experience are:
- Assist Senior Management staff in creating and maintaining tools in analyzing
utilization data, using Excel, Access, or other financial database software.
- Compile best practice information on a number of services, treatment modalities
and standard operating procedures.
- Assist staff with
compiling analysis on financial and utilization data for review with Senior Management.This will involve the creation of new
spreadsheets or data entry into existing spreadsheets.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of documentation binders and files for Board
committees, risk management, facilities and contractual requirements.
This
position is a wonderful opportunity to get a broad range of knowledge about
programs in the social service, behavioral health, and child welfare industry,
and to learn about financial analysis, real estate/facilities management,
regulatory and best practice service and treatment models available. Experience
in computer skills is required, including proficiency in Word, Excel and other
Microsoft office products. Candidates pursuing degrees in business, finance,
management, law, or administrative assistant technical skills are encouraged to

Community Care
Services requires a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI) which may
take 2 weeks for some programs. Other requirements include Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA) training, as well as tuberculosis screening at
some programs. We will arrange for completion of all your requirements.
