The Adult Support Network (ASN) offers an array of clinical care, psycho-social treatment, rehabilitative support and supervisory services to enhance the quality of life of our chronic and persistent mentally ill population as they work towards their recovery. All of ASN’s Service Recipients are referred by Massachusetts Department of Mental Health in a managed care system. Treatment is offered through two modalities – Congregate Sites and Supportive Housing. All Service Recipients work with a multi-disciplinary team to include residential counselors, nurses, clinicians and external providers.
This internship provides unique experiential learning opportunities:
Note: Other areas of interest are welcomed.
Interns should have an interest in and sensitivity toward - the population that this program serves. Community Care Services requires a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI) which may take 2 weeks for some programs. Other requirements include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, as well as tuberculosis screening at some programs. We will arrange for completion of all your requirements.
