Human Resources Intern Position Description
Some of the learning and growth opportunities within Community Care Services that an intern in Human Services would experience are:

Assist Human Resources staff in creating and maintaining tools in analyzing data, using Excel, Access, or other database software.

Assist Human Resources staff with orientation for new hires (assemble orientation manuals, copy documents to comply with I-9, etc.).

Compile informational packets for employees (i.e. health and dental insurance during open enrollment).

File employee documents in personnel records.
-
Call in Worker’s Compensation reports.

Accompany Human Resources staff to employee relations meetings to observe and assist with documentation of meetings.

Assist in recruitment efforts (i.e. attend job fairs; make contact with local colleges etc.).

Disperse resumes to agency’s programs at various locations; enter in database.
Community Care Services is a large, nonprofit human services agency with thirty very diverse programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
