Performance and Quality Management (PQI) Intern Position Description
Some of the learning and growth opportunities within Community Care Services that an intern in Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) would experience are:
Assist PQI staff with creating program specific protocol and guideline manuals (assemble manuals, copy documents, ensure regulatory compliance).

Compile best practice information on a number of services, treatment modalities, standard operating procedures.

Assist PQI staff with compiling quarterly outcome reports for PQI committee presentation.

Assist with creation and maintenance of documentation binders for all committees related to accreditation process, e.g. Environmental Safety, Performance and Quality Improvement, Clinical Committee.
This position is a wonderful opportunity to get a broad range of knowledge about programs in the social service, behavioral health, and child welfare industry, and to learn about regulations and best practice service and treatment models available. To provide an internship experience with client contact, PQI interns frequently combine another internship with Community Care Services’ programs. We will assist you with this.
