Community Care Services is a private, non-profit corporation that provides emotional, educational and behavioral support to more than 10,000 children, adults, elders and families annually throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our mission is to provide the highest quality counseling, prevention, behavioral health, education, mediation, advocacy, community living and elderly services to all of our clients in a safe and caring environment in order to maximize the potential in all of us. Volunteer Opportunities		Intern Opportunities

Over the past year, over 260 volunteers and interns helped Community Care Services in our caring work. They read to children in a homeless shelter, mentored teens, provided clerical help, repaired and painted our buildings, facilitated workshops, interpreted, assisted fail elders and worked in a thrift store. Our volunteers generously contributed over 19,027 hours last year, helping people in their own community improve the quality of their lives....... more		Because of the 48 diverse programs within Community Care Services, over 75 interns join us each year. Their education interests include social work, psychology, education, counseling, nursing, public relations and administrative assistance. We are a teaching organization,and value the opportunity to supervise interns. Interns are invited to take advantage of our extensive staff training, including access to online e-Academy courses. more
