Assist Senior Management staff in creating and maintaining tools in analyzing utilization data. A student would compile best practice information on a number of services, treatment modalities and standard operating procedures. This position is a wonderful opportunity to get a broad range of knowledge about programs in the social service, behavioral health, and child welfare industry, and to learn about financial analysis, real estate/facilities management, regulatory and best practice service and treatment models available. Experience in computer skills is required, including proficiency in Word, Excel and other Microsoft office products. Assist Human Resources staff with orientation for new hires, file employee documents in personnel records, call in Worker’s Compensation reports, accompany Human Resources staff to employee relations meetings to observe and assist with documentation of meetings, assist in recruitment at colleges and job fairs and review resumes. Community Care Services has over 400 employees. This internship would provide a variety of learning experiences for a student in the field of human resources or public relations.

One of Community Care Services’ strategic goals is to enhance our visibility, our recognition, and our reputation within the communities that we serve. One of the tactics to achieve that goal is the creation and display of various montages of the many clients we serve. An intern majoring in art/photography would assist the President and CEO with project conceptualization, including overall design, budget, and timelines of the photography/art project. The intern would collaborate with social service professionals throughout this project with design of displays at many of our facilities in Southeastern Massachusetts.
